IMPORTANT NOTICE

CardWallet is designed to store loyalty and membership cards locally on your device. CardWallet does not operate servers for storing user card data and does not have access to the content you store in the App. You are solely responsible for any data stored in the App and for securing your device and accounts.

1. Information We Collect

CardWallet does not require account registration and does not collect personal information by default. Card data, images, barcodes, and related information are stored locally on your device and remain under your control.

CardWallet does not collect, transmit, or store your card data on CardWallet-operated servers.

2. Local Storage

All cards and related information are stored locally on your device unless you explicitly enable optional backup features. CardWallet does not have the ability to view, access, monitor, or retrieve locally stored data.

3. Optional Google Drive Backup

CardWallet may provide an optional feature allowing you to back up or synchronize data to your personal Google Drive account.

When enabled:

Use of Google Drive is subject to Google’s own privacy policy and terms. CardWallet is not responsible for data loss, corruption, or access issues related to third-party services.

4. Advertising

CardWallet is provided free of charge and may display advertisements through Google AdMob.

CardWallet does not access or use your card data for advertising purposes. However, Google may collect limited device or usage information in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. CardWallet does not control or manage Google’s data collection practices.

5. Sensitive Information

CardWallet is not designed to store sensitive or financial information. You must not store credit card numbers, bank details, PINs, passwords, authentication secrets, or other sensitive information in the App.

6. Data Security

CardWallet does not provide device-level security. You are solely responsible for securing your device, operating system, and accounts.

CardWallet cannot guarantee protection against unauthorized access resulting from device compromise, malware, loss, theft, or insecure configurations.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may interact with third-party services including Google authentication, Google Drive, and Google AdMob. These services operate independently and are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

8. Children’s Privacy

CardWallet is not directed toward children under the age required by applicable law to consent to data processing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated at any time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
